After the destruction of a number of ponds in my local area 'Wirral in the Northwest of England', due to commercial development, I decided to build a pond in my garden and populate it with Frogspawn that I collected from the doomed ponds.
I started photographing the frogs a few years later and displayed the images on a website
Frogs-Watch.co.uk My aim in photographing the Common Frog is to show the beauty of these native creatures and to encourage people to create an environment suitable for such wild life to exist. With a little thought and effort it is possible to create in any garden an environment good for wild life and which will give added pleasure to the garden experience.
All the images in the these galleries were taken in the same suburban garden in the North West of England
